About the Southwest Zone

United States Masters Swimming was founded in 1970 as an organization of sportswomen and sportsmen dedicated to the premise that the lives of participants will be enhanced through aquatic physical conditioning.

Masters swimming is governed by Local Masters Swimming Committees (LMSC), each serving a specific geographic area.  The LMSC's in turn are populated by Clubs and unattached (unaffiliated) swimmers.
